Montanuniversität Leoben (MU Leoben)

Founded in 1840, MU Leoben is a Global Center of Academic Excellence in its high-ranking core disciplines, like Metallurgical Engineering which secured the 21st position in the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities. Originating from one of the world’s oldest mining academies, MU Leoben remains a vital academic partner for Austria’s robust metallurgical industry. In collaboration with TU Graz and TU Vienna, MU Leoben forms the TU Austria association, boasting around 43,000 students.
